These are really interesting youtube video clips that I found.

This video is a very powerful story of a fathers love for his autistic son. I would really recommend to watch this as it demonstrates the special connection between the horse and the autistic child.

The second video is about a lovely therapy riding school for autistic children. It gives a great overview of what their riding school offers and the benefits on the children.

This video clip is very informative and gives you are very nice picture of what hippotherapy (riding therapy) is all about.

This last clip is a lovely video of a therapy riding lesson with a girl with autism.

I Saw A Child

I saw a child who couldn't walk

Sit on a horse, laugh and talk

Then ride through a field of daisies

And yet the child could not walk unaided.

I saw a child, no legs below,

Sit on a horse and make it go

Through woods of green

And places he had never been

To sit and stare

I saw a child could only crawl

Mount a horse and sit up tall.

Put it through degrees and paces

And laugh at the wonder in our faces.

I saw a child born into strife

Take up hold the reins of life

And that same child, I heard him say
